About the program
As the creative backbone for Meta Horizon+, we managed the ongoing visual identity of Meta’s premier VR subscription service. Operating on an 'Always-On' retainer, we produced a diverse range of monthly assets—from store spotlights to social campaigns—tailored to a rapidly shifting landscape of new game releases. Our mission was to bridge the gap between the virtual and the relatable, developing fresh creative strategies that showcased immersive content in ways that resonated with seasoned gamers and curious newcomers alike.
Embedded Strategic Partnership
To deliver on the complex requirements of the Meta Horizon+ ecosystem, I operated as an embedded creative lead, working directly within Meta’s internal structures. This high-touch collaboration allowed for real-time alignment with cross-functional product and engineering teams. By bridging the gap between external agency agility and internal product roadmaps, I ensured that every creative output was not only brand-aligned but technically grounded in the platform’s evolving capabilities.
Operational Stewardship Beyond the creative vision, I served as the primary creative stakeholder within a specialized leadership pod. Partnering closely with the Program Manager, Project Manager, and Account Director, I helped navigate the operational complexities of a global account. My role was to balance high-level strategic goals with resource realities, ensuring that our creative workstreams remained on schedule, on budget, and prioritized according to Meta's most critical business drivers.
Creative Direction & Multidisciplinary
Execution as the Creative Director for the Monks team, I headed a diverse group of specialists to bring the Meta Horizon+ brand to life. I provided end-to-end direction across design, copy, motion animation, and SFX, ensuring a cohesive sensory experience across all touchpoints. By fostering a culture of craft and technical precision, I led the team in translating abstract spatial concepts into tangible, high-fidelity creative that defined the user's journey within the Meta ecosystem.
Channels extending to social
Each month we would produce 2-3 social assets to highlight certain games or exclusive drops.
